Duraplasty in Traumatic Thoracic Spinal Cord Injury: Impact on Spinal Cord Hemodynamics, Tissue Metabolism, Histology, and Behavioral Recovery Using a Porcine Model
This study uses a Yucatan model of traumatic spinal-cord-injury to investigate how duraplasty affects spinal cord pressure, hemodynamics, tissue metabolism, histology, and behavioral recovery. The findings provide translational information relevant to surgical decompression following acute spinal cord injury.
