Minipigs have long been utilized in pharmaceutical and medical device development, particularly in toxicology studies for protein and oral small molecule products.
The next generation of the Sinclair Nanopig presents a cost-effective non-rodent species alternative. The Sinclair Nanopig offers several advantages, such as availability of all ages, lower body weight akin to Beagle dogs, comparable toxicological reference data, compatibility with standard routes of administration and sample collection techniques, as well as integrated genotyping and phenotyping data for informed species selection and safety sign comprehension.
